Meet Mrs. Morgan
I began teaching chemistry, physics, physical science, and earth
science at Sloan-Hendrix in 2004. I graduated from ASU with a
Bachelor of Science in Education with an emphasis in Biology and
Chemistry. In 2009, I received a Master of Education degree
from William Woods University in Curriculum and Instruction. I
chose teaching because I enjoy helping people understand something for
the first time. The most challenging aspect of my job is trying to
make my classes enjoyable to everyone, even those who are not “science
people.” My advice to students is always do and be “your” best and
always be able to look in the mirror and be proud of what you see.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, riding 4-wheelers, and being on my
family farm. My husband, Ben, and I reside in Portia and are the parents
of a daughter, Carley, who is in elementary.
